چکیده
This paper presents the design of a high-performance 0.45–0.50 THz antenna on chip (AoC) for fabrication 100-micron GaAs substrate. The is based metasurface and substrate-integrated waveguide (SIW) technologies. It constituted from seven stacked layers consisting copper patch–silicon oxide–feedline–silicon oxide–aluminium–GaAs–copper ground. top layer consists 2 × 4 array rectangular metallic patches with row subwavelength circular slots to transform into metasurface. essentially enlarges effective aperture area antenna. excited using coplanar feedline that sandwiched between two silicon oxide below patch layer. proposed structure reduces substrate loss surface waves. AoC has dimensions 0.8 0.13 mm3. results show greatly enhances antenna’s gain radiation efficiency, this achieved without compromising its physical size. exhibits an average efficiency 6.5 dBi 65%, respectively, which makes it promising candidate emerging terahertz applications.

Design of a Wideband Antenna for Wireless Network-On-Chip in Multimedia Applications
To allow fast communication—at several Gb/s—of multimedia content among processors and memories in a multi-processor system-on-chip, a new approach is emerging in literature: Wireless Network-on-Chip (WiNoC). With reference to this scenario, this paper presents the design of the key element of the WiNoC: the antenna. Specifically, a bow-tie antenna is proposed, which operates at mm-waves and ca...

In this paper, a frequency reconfigurable multiple-input-multiple-output (MIMO) antenna has been described. The idea of the design is to form reconfigurable MIMO antenna by the development of two-port antenna that are identical to each other and pin diodes are used to achieve the frequency reconfigurability. The design of the canonical element consists of compact folded slots with one pin diode...
متن کاملDesign of a Low-Latency Router Based on Virtual Output Queuing and Bypass Channels for Wireless Network-on-Chip
Wireless network-on-chip (WiNoC) is considered as a novel approach for designing future multi-core systems. In WiNoCs, wireless routers (WRs) utilize high-bandwidth wireless links to reduce the transmission delay between the long distance nodes. When the network traffic loads increase, a large number of packets will be sent into the wired and wireless links and can...
متن کاملDesign of koch fractal bow tie antenna for wireless applications
The crowding of wireless band has necessitated the development of multiband and wideband wireless antennas. Because of the self similar characteristics, fractal concepts have emerged as a design methodology for compact multiband antennas. A Koch-like fractal curve is proposed to transform ultra-wideband (UWB) bow-tie into so called Koch-like sided fractal bow-tie dipole. A small isosceles trian...
متن کاملDESIGN OF MICROSTRIP PATCH ANTENNA FOR 2.45GHz WIRELESS APPLICATIONS
Microstrip patch antennas are widely used in modern day communication devices due to their light weight, low cost and ease of fabrication. In this paper, we have designed a Microstrip Patch Antenna and array of patch for 2.45GHz for Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) applications using antenna simulation software. The designed antenna consists of rectangular radiating patch on FR-4 (lossy) subs...
